                  Welcome to a new world of Electrical Engineering. We all know the importance of electricity in our lives. It would not be wrong to say that Electrical Energy has become not a part of life but life itself. However the biggest challenge today faced by an electrical engineer is to ensure every person gets the benefits of electricity and at the same time the environment is also to be conserved. Let us take a pledge that we will try to adopt all means possible for conservation of electrical energy from today and as an Electrical Engineer we would educate others to adopt such methods of using electricity which will result in saving of energy.
        The Department of Electrical Engineering, Dehradun Institute of Technology has always tried to bring quality and a sense of responsibility in our students. Hope we are  successful in our endevour. Remember that the change always starts from us. If we change ourself then we can ensure others to follow suit.
